Content Policy
These guidelines explain what you can publish on ConvoVerse and how we maintain a high-quality, respectful knowledge-sharing community.
Last updated: September 16, 2025
Quick Navigation
1. Overview
ConvoVerse hosts AI-assisted conversations and derived knowledge. We balance openness with responsibility: valuable insight is welcome; harmful, exploitative, or low-effort spam is not. These rules apply to conversation content, titles, tags, comments, and any metadata.
2. Core Principles
- Usefulness: Content should provide learning value, reproducible steps, reasoning, or insight.
- Integrity: Do not misrepresent AI output as human expertise or vice versa.
- Respect: Avoid harassment, personal attacks, and targeted hostility.
- Safety: No content that meaningfully facilitates harm, exploitation, or illegal activity.
- Transparency: Cite sources or clearly mark speculative reasoning.
3. Allowed Content
Generally acceptable examples include:
- Educational explanations & tutorials
- Code troubleshooting & refactoring discussions
- Research synthesis with proper attribution
- Productivity workflows & prompt engineering
- Ethical analysis & AI safety discussions
- Comparative model behavior demonstrations
- Contextualized creative writing techniques
- Data cleaning or reasoning exemplars
4. Restricted / Needs Context
Allowed only with clear educational or preventative framing—moderators may remove if ambiguous:
- Security-related content (must focus on defense; no zero-day exploitation instructions)
- Medical, legal, or financial topics (must include disclaimers; cannot claim professional authority unless verifiable)
- Moderate political analysis (no targeted persuasion campaigns)
- Discussions of sensitive societal issues (must remain analytical, not inflammatory)
5. Prohibited Content
Content will be removed (and accounts may face enforcement) if it includes:
- Harassment, hateful conduct, or discriminatory slurs
- Sexual content involving minors or sexualization of minors
- Explicit sexual or pornographic material (we are a knowledge platform)
- Self-harm encouragement or instructions
- Detailed guidance enabling violence, weapon construction, or exploitation
- Personal data doxxing or invasion of privacy
- Malware creation, botnet control, or credential harvesting instructions
- Plagiarized or mass AI spam with no curation
6. AI Generated & Transformed Content
- Clearly mark heavily edited model outputs if meaning substantially changed.
- Do not claim original authorship for unmodified AI prose.
- Summaries or aggregations must add organization, synthesis, or critique—raw dumps are not allowed.
- Model comparison logs should include date, model versions, and prompt context.
7. Attribution & Sources
When referencing external knowledge:
- Link to canonical sources when feasible
- Avoid copying proprietary or paywalled material verbatim
- Use block quotes for verbatim excerpts < 100 words with citation
- Disclose if content derives from your own prior published work
8. Enforcement & Moderation
We combine automated signals with human review. Actions escalate progressively based on severity and history:
- Content warning / soft intervention
- Removal with educational note
- Temporary submission restrictions
- Account suspension
- Permanent ban for severe or repeated abuse
Moderation decisions aim for consistency but may involve judgment; appeals can be submitted via the reporting channel.
9. Reporting
If you find policy violations, report them through in-app tools or email info@convoverse.ai. Include the conversation URL and a brief rationale.
10. Updates
We will iterate on this policy as AI capabilities and community needs evolve. Material changes will be announced. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
